When
we first began recruiting we realized the vital need for
our service. However, with the boom in the
recruitment industry in the late 1990’s, some
recruiting agencies lost focus on their clients'
priorities. Accounts were thriving and money was
rolling in, but to keep pace, recruiters were being
hired on the spot, were given minimal training and were
asked to provide the same service that took Bluespeed
years to perfect. Suddenly, most recruiters were
forced to meet irrelevant guidelines: quotas for resumes
sent weekly (basically forcing them to spam) and phone
time (for phone time's sake) – meanwhile, recruiters
had to constantly bring in new clients. This damaged
relationships with established clients and didn’t
allow recruiters to work with new clients properly -
which diminished the quality of service.
There is a better way.
